The inside of the liner notes to Then consist of many things. Above is the first two photo's that appear inside, these photo's are flyers for pre-album shows. So before The Pink Album came out, you'd see flyers like this. The text surrounding these photo's is written by John & John. I am fairly sure that the little girl flyer to the right is a product of Flansburgh's old job at a publishing company doing paste up and design work. It's advertising for their demo tape.
	The photo to the left is a promotional postcard, promoting insanity I can only assume. It is assumed that the lettering on this postcard was also taken from Flans's publishing job.
This picture is of the Johns do what the twin quasars of rock do best, rockin' out ! Apparently some of the equipment in the background is the same stuff they used in the making of their self-titled debut. It may be a bit hard to see, but Linnell is wearing a hooded jacket, with the hood up ! Quite amusing if you ask me.
	It's John Flansburgh ! In a flannel shirt lying on America !!! He's halfway in between Ripley and Mayville by the looks of things. Travelling along Interstate 76 is apparently the quikest route. This just even MORE evidence that They Might Be Giants. This picture is actually taken from the Don't Lets Start video.

	I know this picture is a little hard to see, so let me describe what it is showing. John & John accompanied by a drummer, a keyboardist, and an older gentlemen I assume is playing bass, or just another guitar. The picture in the upper right, is just a photo of some people in boats. But No, this is not just some random perfomance of TMBG that some on-looker decided to take a picture of, this photo is from the They'll Need A Crane video.
